About the ranch:

320 Guest Ranch is a historic property set on 320 acres of beautiful Montana wilderness along the Gallatin River. While the ranch spans a large area, the cabins, event spaces, and main lodge are all conveniently located within a short walking distance of one another. Guests can easily explore the grounds, enjoy mountain views, and take in the fresh air without needing to drive between events. It’s the perfect mix of wide-open Montana beauty and cozy, walkable charm.

What is the typical weather in Big Sky for early June?

Early June in Big Sky is beautifully unpredictable — days are typically mild and sunny, with highs in the mid-50s to upper-60s °F and cooler evenings that can dip into the 30s or 40s. Our ceremony will be outdoors on open grass, and the reception will take place in the same area underneath a structured tent. Heaters will keep everyone warm if we need them! We recommend dressing in layers and choosing shoes suitable for grass or uneven ground so you can stay comfortable as the mountain temperatures shift throughout the evening. Wear your western boots! Keep an eye on the weather forecast for the Big Sky area. June is on average a wet month with sporadic rain showers- be sure to pack your rain jacket.

What is the dress code?

Friday Attire: For our Friday events, we invite guests to dress "Mountain Chic" in cocktail attire with a relaxed, outdoors, comfortable feel. Optional western touches—such as hats, boots and bolo ties—are encouraged.

Saturday Attire: We are embracing the romantic beauty of Big Sky with a “Mountain Formal” dress code. For women: maxi or midi-length dress. For men: a suit and tie are appropriate.

Where should I stay?

We would love for our guests to stay with us at 320 Guest Ranch, where all the weekend’s events will take place! The ranch has cozy cabins and lodges surrounded by beautiful mountain views. For guests who prefer to stay in town, we recommend The Wilson Hotel in Big Sky Town Center, about a 15-minute drive from the ranch. Please note that transportation will not be provided between venues.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones! However, our venue has limited space and we’re keeping our celebration intimate. Thank you for understanding!
